    First® LEGO® League gives elementary and middle school students the opportunity to work and create together to solve a common problem using LEGO robotics.
    Role: Regional (Arizona) Robot Design Judge.

  • National Robotics Week

    ASU Robotics Open House at The Polytechnic School The purpose of National Robotics Week is to: - Celebrate the US as a leader in robotics technology development. - Educate the public about how robotics technology impacts society, both now and in the future. - Advocate for increased funding for robotics technology research and development. - Inspire students of all ages to pursue careers in robotics and other Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math-related fields. Role: Hosting with other robotics faculty an open house at The Polytechnic School of Engineering of ASU. Please come by to visit our labs, learn more about our research, and see our robots!
  • Night of the Open Door

    Every year ASU invites the local community to visit any of the five campus locations, allowing visitors to explore the innovative spaces accessible only to ASU students. Visitors have the opportunity to participate in hundreds of interactive activities and talk to students, faculty and staff. Thrill seekers, lifelong learners, science gurus, arts enthusiasts and adventure seekers can explore laboratories, living collections, museums and classrooms and participate in hands-on activities. Our lab participates at the Night of the Open Door by opening its doors and showcasing robotic research.
  • Soft Robotics Toolkit

    Collection of shared resources to support the design, fabrication, modeling, characterization, and control of soft robotic devices.
    Role: Part of the Toolkit Development Team and contributor - past work as post-doctoral fellow at Harvard University.
