Dr. Polygerinos received the New Investigator award from the Arizona Department of Health Services - Arizona Biomedical Research Center to explore the development of a soft robotic exosuit for lower-limb assistance.
Dr. Polygerinos, with Co-PI Dr. W. Zhang, received an award from NSF - CMMI to study Distributed Iterative Control of Soft Robotic Arms.
Our paper, "Development of a Soft-Inflatable Exosuit for Knee Rehabilitation" has been accepted for publication in IROS 2017
Participating at the National Robotics Week 2017 the lab opened its doors to local elementary and highschool students.
Prof. Polygerinos gives invited talk on "The softer side of robots and their wearable applications" at the Valey Engineering Science and Technology Club, Suncity West, AZ.
